Weekend Session

It seems like I’ve been rock blocked every weekend for the past month. Anyways, I had a great Easter with friends, and got out to the Musical Boulders on Friday. Also, I got another pad recently. That’s two nice, used crash pads for $130, sweet. Also, it looks like I’m getting $1600 back from the IRS, yeah!

The boulder shown stands by itself on a beautiful hillside on the way to Rincon Wall. I’ve been wanting to check it out for a year or so. This boulder has (at least) a couple established lines, but it doesn’t look like anyone climbs on it anymore. The problem in the vid is probably a first send at around V3. Really fun blocky start with a knee bar.

I’m working on sending the west end of the boulder, it’s a prow, compression problem that’ll be pretty hard (for me). I don’t think it’s been done either.
