Fat Foot in a Little Shoe

So I sprained my ankle on Thursday (dropping from the finish holds instead of topping out at Flag). It’s healing nicely, thanks to RICE (Rest, Ice, Compression, Elevation). Despite the sprained ankle, and ubiquitous rain, I got outside this weekend, a few pictures follow.

  1. RICE? More like ICE. Climbing 4 days in a row isn’t considered resting, E. :)

  2. I heard of an alternative to RICE. It’s called MEAT… seriously. I’m not endorsing it or claiming to know anything about it, just throwing it out there. It makes some sense. Though, since you seem to be healing well, you should probably stay the course this time around.

ps I dig the new logo.

  3. Thanks for the link Kris. Interesting. Yeah, I actually haven’t been resting it much. I “walked it off” after the fall, and climbed all weekend- i.e. the “M” movement in MEAT.
