Two Days in Eldo

What’s the best way to make a work week enjoyable? Just follow my simple two step plan:

1. Take off work early.
2. Go to Eldorado Canyon and climb classic routes.

Yesterday, Ryan and I climbed Rosy Crucifixion, a one-of-a-kind route with a spicy approach and a first pitch consisting entirely of a traverse. It’s just as scary for the second as the leader.

Today, Tyler and I went back for some great two-pitch lines on Wind Tower.

First, we linked Calypso with Reggae. After descending and deciding we had enough light, we summited Wind Tower via the classic Wind Ridge.

Now I’m looking forward to the weekend. Rumor on the street is that Chris Rollings is comin’ to town…

Not just a rumor my friend. Bags are packed, car is full of gas, now i just need to ditch this work thing. I mean it’s not like I’m getting anything done right now anyway!
