The Hit List

Like The Bucket List, except cool, The Hit List will be occupying much of my 2010.

I’m taking 6-9 months off of work to experience life. Mad thanks to Andrew for inspiration and planning. He and I will be doing much of this together (hope I didn’t just spill the beans). Also, thanks to my girlfriend Amy for “working with me” on this. Without further ado, here’s the list…

Climb:
The Black
Yosemite
The Diamond
Indian Creek and Towers
Red Rocks
Cirque of the Towers
El Petrero Chico

Standing Rock (courtesy MountainProject)

Patagonia

Adventure:
Patagonia with Andrew
Squeeze through Slot Canyons [1, 2]
Learn Backcountry Survival and Fishing
Snorkel
Explore Ruins and Pictographs
See Dinosaur tracks, chill in swimming holes, & relax in hidden hot springs

If you have any suggestions, or want “in” let me or Andrew know.

Woohoo!!! Cant wait! Im very intrigued about the Regular Route on Standing Rock in Utah (posted pic). I think we are going to have to do that…

Word dude. I got "approval" from my boss the other day. Now I'm starting to get excited. Standing Rock is sick, we gotta do it.

Good for you, buddy. Probably something you've thought of, however, it'd be good do some planning to make sure you hit all the destinations in their best/acceptable seasons.

On the other hand, with Andrew's visionary planning gusto, the details may have been sussed out decades ago.

  4. Jon Cannon says:

I am thoroughly envious. Props to both of you guys.
