Andrew and I got out to Zion last weekend. I forgot how amazing the place is. On vague directions, we hiked 45 minutes into a silent canyon and found an amazing, overhanging sandstone wall. Time produced huge huecos in the orange sandstone, perfect for climbing.

The next day we hiked through The Subway. It was 110 degrees in the sun, but we were shivering in the crystal clear spring water. After three 100′ rappels, swimming with packs, squeezing through slots, and hiking 9 miles, we were spent.
On Sunday, we crushed some limestone at Mt. Charleston, and got caught in a desert monsoon.

The music in the video was recorded live on the streets of Boulder, enjoy…

Zion and Kolob canyon are amazing. Thats cool that you both got to go out there and explore some more. Hopefully I get the chance to see those places again and go canyoning soon. BTW, when are you thinking about setting off on your big adventure? I might be interested….

I love it, Eli! You should indeed write for a travel mag or a book because I'm always itching to venture out after one of your posts :) Love the video and the stalker owl…
