I know this process all too well; Sort into three piles- trash, charity, keep. I’ve thrown away so much in an attempt to simplify, yet some things remain: I can’t even open those old letters; bottle rockets; dark green bags full of old clothes

Today I finished moving to Boulder from Denver. This is part of my plan to live closer to the people and things that I love. I’ve moved in with Amy and Liz, and my living expenses should be low enough to continue traveling as planned…

I sprain my ankles all the time. One sprain leads to the next, always. I don’t like doing rehab, so I’ve thought of a few fun ways to strengthen my ankles (below). If you have any other ideas, post ‘em in the comments.
1. Slacklining- Good for balance in general, and the ankle muscles.

2. Balance Boards
3. Jump Rope- Good for Cardio in addition to ankle strength.

Eli: Thanks so much for the confession that you, too, sprain your ankles. I sprained mine while climbing in Madison, Wisconsin over break. I had gone to Boulders Climbing Gym there (while visiting family in Milwaukee) so I could start writing my reviews for P'UP. I biffed at the end of the night, and this afternoon I get to go to the clinic for follow-up x-rays and a splint boot (whoo hoo!). Anyway, I was encouraged to know that even someone as seasoned and talented as you are could have ankle issues, too. Thanks so much for sharing!
Heh … turns out I broke my foot – so much for ankle sprain.
Damn, sorry to hear that! Get well soon.
