Well, I’m safe, sound & sunburn here in El Potrero Chico.  I spent the first day roaming the city of Hidalgo, struggling to take a few photos and not look like a complete tourist (hard with a camera around my neck and white skin!).  Here’s a few photos…

The people have been very nice, both the locals and the gringos at the camp ground.  With that said, I still eagerly await Andrew’s arrival.  Hoping to climb tomorrow, but it looks like the weather might not agree.

  4. I am thoroughly jealous, but consider myself fortunate to be able to have these vicarious experiences. Stay safe and have a great time.
