Ah, the dichotomy of life. I’m here in Boulder, trying to work hard while having fun, which can be a challenge. We had a blast on the radio the other night, talking with climbing legend Jim Bridwell, and Climb Talk host Mike Brooks.  I’ll let you know if a transcript becomes available.

My extended vacation is nearing an end, and like a school boy in August, I’m trying to squeeze in as much as possible. I’ve been climbing a lot, and working on a handful of creative projects that I look forward to sharing with you. On a related note, I’ll be entering the Reel Rock film competition, and the Rock and Ice photo contest, should be fun!

I recently met my good friends at SOFO for a band practice/photo shoot.  As I write this, I’m realizing the real joy I have from doing this type of work, and the growing dread as I consider returning to a 9 to 5.  Below, please find two galleries from the shoot.  It’s noted that the pictures are presented in Adobe Flash, so the links  won’t work if you’re on an itouch/ipad.

Hard to be too serious when we’re all gearing up for Cinco de Mustache… all I see is Will’s ‘stache. =)

I need an ME in Omaha. Please let me know if you’re ready to get back to engineering.

Finally caught up on March and April posts! I love the work and fun you’ve been sharing with us, Eli, Adam and everyone. Could have done without Lizz’s cake on the ‘stache photo, otherwise great posts, photos, interviews and videos!
I really look forward to the mead article! We had so much fun!
