We were relatively close to Ten Essentials, but remained left of it until meeting up with the North Ridge a few pitches from the top. We never got into the massive Barb flake system. I don’t think our line is on Mountain Project. I’d like to see the RMNP guidebook to check if the route is documented.

Thanks for putting this together Adam, would you mind putting that topo on Mountain Project? I wish I could explain the feeling of those hard pitches to others- pinching crystals, “praying” foot matches, utter concentration. It was great to share it with you.

It’s wonderful to see that you’re stopping to shoot the flowers. It’s even better to see that you’re taking on this kind of experience. That photo of the cloud filling the gorge would have been worth the grueling hike (to me).
