Author: Teddy Dondanville, AMGA

After growing up in California and going to college in Colorado, Teddy ironically discovered rock climbing in the flatlands of Southern Illinois. After his first outdoor trip, Teddy dove head first down the climbing rabbit hole. Now, almost ten years later, Teddy is an Apprentice Rock Guide with the American Mountain Guides Association. Teddy has climbed all over the continental United States, from the Gunks to Yosemite Valley, and South America, most notably the Cordillera Blanca of Peru. His favorite form of climbing is traditional multi-pitch climbing. Other than his personal climbing pursuits, Teddy has also coached climbing and set routes in climbing gyms.
